GSX Guru/wisdom required

I reckon someone here is bound to know the answer to this. Are the bottom end of GSX1100 engines interchangable with any of the GSX models top ends?
eg: will an EFE top end fit onto an early GSX bottom end?
cheers

EFE "GS1150" Head goes straight on you just have to use the EFE studs....

The Block can also be used if you open up the crankcase mouth in a few places....ya cant use the pistons cus there a 20mm Pin and the GSX 1100 "GS1100" as its correct name has 18mm pins nowt stopping ya using oversize GS1100 slugs in the GS1150 block though..
